Ashley Stevens

Ashley is a very active member of the Ski Club of the Palm Beaches and skis at Okeeheelee Park.  Ashley had an awesome year in 2008 – it was her first year competing at the Regional and National level.  Ashley placed fourth at the Southern Regionals in Girls 1 Slalom and throughout the year, she continually achieved a personal best score in every tournament including the Nationals.  This year she moves on to Girls 2 and is looking forward to running more buoys, shortening that line, and picking up tricks.  In addition to skiing, Ashley has a passion for horseback riding (jumper) and she has had the distinct honor of being selected to play the steel drums in a school band that travels all over Florida.  Her school band even played as the opener to Natalie Cole, the pop jazz singer, at our hometown concert hall.  Ashley is looking forward to the 2009 season.
